Brief info
Dr. Naranjo was born in Guayaquil Ecuador. She completed her dental education at the University of Guayaquil obtaining the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2006.
In pursuit of further training, she participated in a one year preceptorship program in Prothodontics at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. In 2011 she completed a three year specialty and residency training which granted her a Certificate in Prosthodontics and the degree of Master of Science in Dentistry. Part of her training consisted of a two month rotation at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Department of Head and Neck Surgery. She also assisted in teaching Occlusion and Removable Prosthodontics to undergraduate dental students.
For many years, Dr. Naranjo provided dental care to senior patients at many nursing homes in the greater Houston Area. Doing so deepened her desire to educate and help her patients decide for the best treatment options for long term health benefits and not just a quick fix. In her free time, she enjoys running, playing tennis, making music, volunteering at church and traveling. Dr. Naranjo is fluent in Spanish and English.
